my 6th essay will be about 'My Family'

First off, i'll introduce myself.

Zane:

Hi, my name is zane. i'm 17 years old. My birthday falls on the 23rd of october. My hobbies are badminton,dancing,singing,swimming,Facebook,texting,teasing, being awesome :D and most of all KOREAN MUSIC,SHO

WS,MOVIES AND DRAMAS! I'm currently studying in Cemapaka Assembly Of God, Grade 11. I have 2 siblings.

Summer:

Summer is 14 years old, loves singing, dancing,texting,annoying me and Eggs. Summer is my annoying sister whom i love so much. Summer is caring, sociable yet mysterious at the same time. she's a very mature young lady, responsible,very smart and witty. She's also studying with me at Cemapaka Assembly Of God. grade 8.

John: my older brother, which will be 19! loves football,scouts,shredding his red BC.Rich electric guitar, loves guns n' Roses, beatles and the Godfather. John, is very sociable (apparently), loved by many. awesome football player! and also a great brother. though we fight a lot when he was around, but i know he loved me and cared for me a lot. same for me too :D

Mummy:

The Nagger! loves me summer john papa. she loves to exercise,yoga,gym,baking,cooking,scolding,nagging,and taking care of the family. Currently, mum is trying to make some time for her health as she is starting to work soon in 2010. The things i always notice abo

ut mum is, she's always trying to stay healthy. always take walks,yoga sometimes. but she doesn't eat healthily :P hehe.

Father:

Papa, the 'Dai Lou' the Dragon of Gan family. why? CHONGTAOFATT MAH! reaching 51! he still loves to ride his bike weekly up to genting with his buddies, loves to work out and buff himself up, at the same time also pigging out with me in BKT,Lum Mee and some roast pork. My father

is a very 'Almighty-wise-gandhi' type of guy. he's highly respected by his peers and the younger ones in the extended family doesn't dare to mess with him. He Praw. My dad is always the one in the family, aligning us in the right direction. guiding us on the right path, teaching us values and making sure we stick to them. Praw man.

Essay #5

my 5th essay will be about the movie i JUST watched last night:

First of, why this movie? because! i've been wanting to watch this movie since 8 months ago! never got the chance to go and watch it. and also it looked really good in the trailer.

What is the movie about?

Set in a future-world where humans can control other humans in mass-scale, multi-player online gaming environments. [Slayers] A multiplayer, first-person shooter game, Slayers allows gamers to control death row prisoners in mass-scale death matches. Any inmate who lives through 30 matches wins his freedom.

So, Gerard butler which is the MAIN star in this film. is Kable (Gerard Butler), the online champion of the game, having won 27 matches and lived through them all.

and the twist is, no one EVER gets their freedom. SO CAN HE MAKE IT? dumdumdum!

After 1 hour and 35minutes. i must say the effects were really really good. the director manage to accomplish that feeling where your actually in the movie! yes the effects were that good. and Actors were great, Chemistry was good. Gerard butler, without a doubt still kicked ass. Downside was, this movie ONLY revolved around Gerard, yes it's true the movie is about him winning in the online game. But, sucks to be supporting actor/actress because you get very little screen time. oh well, not all movies are perfect. Anyways, this movie is for fans like me. Love the action,blood,gore,violence, BOOMBOOMBOOM! i give it a 8/10!

My 4th essay will be about. MY ALLTIMEFAVOURITE I-CAN-EAT-EVERYDAY-FOOD:

SUSHI!!

Yes, this is my all time favourite food. i can ACTUALLY,SERIOUSLY eat this EVERYDAY! Here's some all you need to know info:

The traditional form of sushi is fermented fish and rice, preserved with salt in a process that has been traced to Southeast Asia, where it remains VERY popular today. The term sushi comes from an archaic grammatical form no longer used in other contexts; literally, "sushi" means "it's sour".

Types of Sushi:

Nigirizushi (Hand-formed sushi)- consists of an oblong mound of sushi rice that is pressed between the palms of the hands, usually with a bit of wasabi, and a topping draped over it.

Makizushi (hand-formed sushi)- is cylindrical piece, formed with the help of a bamboo mat, called a makisu. Makizushi is generally wrapped in nori, but can occasionally be found wrapped in a thin omelette, soy paper, cucumber, or parsley.

Oshizushi (presses sushi)

Inarizushi (stuffed sushi)

Chirashiszushi (scattered sushi)

Narezushi (matures sushi)- is a traditional form of fermented sushi. Skinned and gutted fish are stuffed with salt, placed in a wooden barrel, doused with salt again, then weighed down with a heavy tsukemonoishi (pickling stone).

and Last! Western Sushi- California roll, Dynamite roll, Caterpillar roll...etc..etc

what do i LOVE about sushi?

Well, it's the taste of fresh fish in your mouth. with a little bit of soy sauce. the crunchy-ness of the soft shell crab. ooh! i want! how the FRESH fish melts in your mouth.

Where is the best sushi in the WORLD?

TSUKIJI FISH MARKET! NO DOUBT!

yes! i have been there. with my beloved godparents. i got to experience WORLD-CLASS SUSHI! so fresh. my Godmother even 'warned' me that when you eat the fresh meat, you can feel it moving in your mouth! haha.

Where is the best Sushi in KL?

SUSHI ZANMAI! 100%! sushi king? what?

sakae sushi? excuse me?

sushi groove? hello?

my 3rd essay will be about another member of my ALLTIME Favourite Korean pop idol group SNSD's "Beautiful than Flower"

Im YoonA!

Im YoonA, born on March 30th 1990. Raised in Seoul, South Korea. SHe graduated from Daeyoung High school.

At a young age, YoonA auditioned at the SM Saturday open casting audition and joined the company in 2002. and the duration of her training was 5 years before debuting on August 2, 2007! Her position in the group you might ask, Supporting Vocalist!

The same year she Debut, she also Debut as an actress in a Korean Drama called '9 ends 2 outs'. After that even more shows, which won her important recognitions in acting. shows such as ' Woman of Matchless Beauty ' , ' You are my Destiny ' , and the most Famous 'Cinderella Man'. Quite an a Achiever eh? hehe.

Other singing an Acting YoonA also does Modeling! Of course right? such a beautiful girl like her, DEFINITELY! and what's even cool-er is she was modelling even BEFORE she debut with SNSD! she modelled for Various Fashion magazines, CF's (commercial film) and she appeared in other Korean idol Music videos.

Currently she is a model to endorse 'Clean & Clear', YeJiMan Pad and Innisfree Cosmetics.

Whew, that was alot of YoonA! Other than Singing,Modelling and acting. Yoona likes to listen to songs that matches the weather of the day. Cool huh?

She likes Money,Music and dancing. Fun fact! her favourite number is 93!

Essay #2

My second essay will be about, my ALLTIME FAVOURITE! Korean Pop Group SNSD! and their "Dorky-Kid Leader"

Kim Taeyeon!

Kim Taeyeon, born on March 9, 1989. Raised in Jeonju, North Jeolla. Taeyeon graduated from Jeonju High School of Arts on February 5,2008.

Taeyeon was discovered in 2004 8th Annual Best Contest, winning 1st place in the contest!and after that she was taken in by SM entertainment for training, which is a common thing in the Korean music industry. Confused? Let me explain a bit, Entertainment companies in Korea such as, SMEntertainment, JYP Entertainment, YG Entertainment etc..etc.. They hold auditions across Selected states and countries around the world. and they also hold Singing/Dancing contests. After that, they decide to take the 'Chosen ones' in for training. Which varies, between 4-7 years. Depending how old you were taken in. Within those years, you'll be trained to Sing and dance by Professionals hired by the Company, After that your training is done, It's time to debut! They wil decide whether to debut the Trainees as a Group idol, or Solo artist, or Actors etc.etc. Get it? So taeyeon's training was about 3 years and 3 months. After the training, Taeyeon's Group SNSD debut on August 2 of 2007!

Now, Among all the other leaders in the K-pop world. Fans all agree that Taeyeon is the most FUN,Dorky, outgoing, funny, and cute all the time! Everytime when SNSD is on a show, Taeyeon never fails to put a smile on the fans. Her charm and Smile lights up my heart.

Other than singing and dancing with the Girls on a Variety of shows, and being an awesome leader. Taeyeon also has Solo activities. Such as being a Radio DJ, Recording soundtracks for movies, and appearing on a Reality-Variety show.

When taeyeon is not "working" she likes to watch her Japanese dramas and SLEEP. haha, fun fact! taeyone sleeps with her eyes open! and her favourite fruits are oranges apples and strawberries!

Well, that's all i have to say about one of my Favourite SNSD member!

Essay #1

i do not want to write this. dad ask me to. something 'productive' woh...?


Anyway, i'll be writing about the movie i just watched today. Review-ish.

" Ninja Assassin "




Sunday morning, 9am. i woke up with a smile on my face, felling happy, carefree as if there's nothing to do today but laze around in the house with my korean music playing. 10 o'clock, i'm at the computer stil thinking what to do on a sunday. Dad walked in the room telling me we're having breakfast at the Le Meriden. THEN it hit me, SHANE IS PICKING ME UP IN AN HOUR! i rushed to the toilet. Haha, i thought to myself with a smile on my face. how can i be so forgetful?

Shane picked me up at 10:45. came in forawhile, left 15 minutes after.

You might ask why did i choose NINJA ASSASSIN? Well, 2 things. BIGKOREAN SUPERSTAR (Rain) and RAIN is the main lead. haha.



So, after lunch it was time! NINJA ASSASSIN TIME! :D

Overall, after watching the trailer earlier this week. It looked like a Cheap-movie with a very expensive Actor in their cast. But it didn't dissapoint. Rain was very good! and the special effects, fighting scenes were Matrix/300 like. it was awesome! not much dialogue because it's..well an ACTIONPACKEDKICKASS FILM!
Cast was a bit off, they should've used a Hotter girl for the Supporting actress.
Script was good. Funny. To wrap it up. Ninja Assassin is a great movie for the Gore-y,Action,KillKillKill,blood splash,limbs flying Fans. i give it a 9/10!
